Offering support to seniors and adults with disabilities in former Rideau Ward and areas immediately adjacent to Manotick in Osgoode Ward and the former cities of Gloucester and Nepean.

Rideau Community Support Services (RCSS), located in Manotick, Ontario, is a non-profit charitable organization which provides a variety of programs and services to assist seniors and adults with disabilities to continue living in their own homes.

RCSS is operated by a small permanent staff that coordinates 200+ volunteers and approximately 30 in home workers who are involved in the delivery of programs and services.  

Funding:

RCSS receives some funding from Champlain Local Health Integration Network. Funding is also provided by the City of Ottawa and United Way Ottawa. Remaining financial resources are a result of donations and fundraising activities including support from local organizations, service clubs and individual donations. Clients fees provide additional dollars. Short term project grants enable the RCSS to meet many emerging community needs.
